Irish Elite VBC goal is to ensure playing JO is accessible to all girls interested in playing.   Part of the objective is to ensure season fees are affordable.  In support of this we build flexible fundraising and volunteer components into our fee structure.  These are explained below.

Player dues cover  registration fees (player, coach and team), league dues, tournament fees, uniforms, practice gym time, equipment costs (balls, ball bags, and other developmental tools as needed), strength/conditioning training, and coaches salaries.  Costs do not include travel expenses.

Player costs are:

Team Type Cost Payment Schedule
Development Team $465 One time cost in December
Competition Team $700 Half due in December & half due in January
Elite Team $825 Half due in December & half due in January

Payment is done online via the Athletech payment system and includes credit card and bank withdrawl options.

Scholarships are available to those that need additional help in paying the player fees.   Families must apply for scholarships on the RAAA Athletech website.   Players that apply for scholarships must be committed to meeting their fundraising goal and volunteer commitment.

Each season we run fundraising event(s) that require the player to raise a designated amount in support of their season.  The typical budget is $150 per player with a maximum family requirement of $150.   A check is collected from each family at the beginning of the season.  The check is destroyed upon completion of the goal.   The Fundraising coordinator(s) select the event (cookie dough sales, candy, etc) and set up the event.   Families can elect to “opt out” and not participate in the fundraising effort by forfeiting their $150 deposit check.

Parents and players are expected to help supported the home hosted tournaments.   Families will provide a $100 volunteering check at the beginning of the season.   That check is destroyed upon completion of the required volunteer commitments.  As with the fundraising events parent can elect to not participate by forfeiting their check.
