All participants must attend the tryout process in beginning to mid-November.  The tryout process is a one day event where participants are evaluated on their fundamental volleyball skills, team volleyball skills, athletic ability, attitude, and work ethic.  The purpose of the tryout process is to select participants for teams.    Upon being selected players must commit to playing for the Irish Elite Club.  

Over the next two weeks players must also  attend age group practice sessions that determine placement on the appropriate team based on age, skills, positions and interest level.  

We prefer players pre-register for tryouts at RAAA Athletech website.   Pre-registration is $25.   At the door registration is $50.   The tryout fee is non-refundable.  Click HERE to register.

Coaches and independent evaluators are utilized to evaluate the players and establish teams.  Based on the number of participants at various age levels and abilities, some players may be cut.    We do try to place all participants on teams when possible.

A tryout fee of $25 is collected at the time of registration.  Once team placements have been made, then an additional season fee between $465 and $825 is required to be collected.  All players placed on a team will also be required to register with USAV, which is a $50 per player registration fee.  All players placed on a team will also need to provide two checks - one check for $150 for fundraising and one check for $100 for volunteering.  The checks will only be cashed for players that do not meet their fundraising and/or volunteer requirements.
